Derileisy Ramos Diaz was born and raised in Sancti SpĂritus, Cuba, Derileisy Ramos Diaz began her circus journey at 9 years old with Forjadores del Futuro. At 14, she was discovered during the first nationwide auditions for the International Circus School of Cuba. There, she specialized in contortion and, after four years of rigorous training, graduated to perform internationally.
In Mexico, she met her husband, Douglas, who introduced her to flying trapeze at the renowned Circo Atayde. Derileisy became the first Cuban woman to complete a triple on the flying trapeze, earning her a place in circus history.
Since joining Venardos Circus in 2019, she has showcased her versatility with acts on trapeze, silks, and Lyra. Currently, she performs as an aerialist with the Pink Ladies and as a flyer with the Flying Acostas. Derileisy continues to inspire audiences with her exceptional talent and passion for the circus arts.
